That’s right; the Bouvier Des Flandres comes in four different coat colors black, brindle, fawn, and reddish fawn. What are the differences between them? Well, it comes down to texture? The black and brindle coats are more coarse, while the fawns have a softer feel to them. The black and brindles are indeed more popular with folks due to the AKC Tournaments as the AKC for a time did not allow for fawns to be shown. Their reasoning for this decision was due to the texture of the coat.

What they believe was the best representation of the breed was the black and brindle with its corse coat. So now you know the story about the differences between the Bouvier Des Flandres coat colors.
